 https://www.artintersection.com/event/glen-canyon-exposed-dawn-kish/\n \nA
bout her photographs: What began as a story for Arizona Highways Magazine h
as evolved into a motion picture film\, educational Tad Talks\, and now a t
raveling exhibit. This photographic and motion picture program explores the
dramatic environmental transformation of Glen Canyon and Lake Powell\, doc
umenting the historic re-emergence of lost landscapes\, ancient archaeology
\, and natural wonders as water levels recede. Centered on a multi-generati
onal visual dialogue\, the program bridges past and present by pairing the
historic pre-dam photography of Tad Nichols with the modern\, immersive pho
tojournalism of Dawn Kish—who exposes the canyon with Tad’s original 4x
5 Crown Graphic camera. Together\, their lenses and shared artifact examine
ecological memory\, climate dynamics\, and the ongoing rebirth of the Colo
rado River corridor through art and advocacy.\n \nDate: Tuesday\, October
 13\, 2026\nTime: 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. (reception starting at 6:30\, with the pr
 esentation starting at 7:30).\nLocation: 10919 S. Central Avenue\, Phoenix\
