New River nature Reserve with Robert Carter
At New River Nature Reserve, New River surfaces above ground to support a Cottonwood/Willow riparian habitat that sits one mesquite bosque away from Sonoran Desert thornscrub, with all three habitats boasting a variety of bird, mammal, and even frog species. We will look for migratory bird species, in addition to the resident woodpecker, raptor, songbird, ducks, and herons that call this place home.
