April 7: Exploring Madagascar
Exploring Madagascar
Madagascar is the 4th largest island in the world. As is common with islands, it’s home to many endemic species, from plants and insects to birds and animals. If you’ve seen the movie of the same name, you know those animals include lemurs! In this program we’ll explore the Southern part of this unique country. We’ll look at habitats, birds and wildlife, and take a glimpse in to what life is like in Madagascar.
