Every year between December 14 and January 5 the Maricopa Bird Alliance participates in the Christmas Bird Count to add valuable data to monitor the health of Arizona’s avian population. Experienced and beginner birders are invited to join this tradition that was started in 1900 by the The National Audubon Society.
Join the 2023–24 Arizona Christmas Bird Count between Dec 14 and Jan 5. Help monitor bird populations across Arizona — beginners welcome and no fee required.
